Joanne is the WINNER of the prestigious Louis N. and Arnold M. Katz Basic Science Research Prize for Early Career Investigators! This award is given by the American Heart Association at the Scientific Sessions. Joanne won for her work describing a novel regulator of mitochondrial biology important in heart and skeletal muscle disease. Congratulations Joanne!!
